DB Port Szczecin Sp. z o.o. is a specialized reloading operator in the port of Szczecin. Main activity of the company is handling of cargos of such cargo groups as: containers; wood-based products: e.g. paper and wood pulp; general cargo: e.g. steel products, non-ferrous metals, fertilizers in big bags, project cargo, heavy loads and oversized cargo, e.g. wind turbines, and cargo such as granite, coco and coffee.

Taking into consideration the above division into cargo groups, DB Port Szczecin offers to its clients 3 places of service:

Container terminal for handling of containers – reloading, loading, transporting containers within the port and other depot in Szczecin, fumigation, forming and reforming containers, handling of dangerous cargo etc.;

General cargo terminal for break bulk such as paper, wood pulp, steel, slabs, pallets, big bags, etc.), constructions, reloading, storage of dedicated goods in warehouses and in open storage area,

Free Duty Area, offering reloading and handling of cargo without the necessity to pay duty and taxes; handling of coco and coffee including: reloading, storing, forming and reforming to/from containers, repairing, fumigations; handling of granite including: reloading and storing.

DB Port Szczecin has about 110,000 m2 of area in warehouses and over 182,000 m2 of area on yards.

Company is equipped with two self-propelled mobile cranes Gottwald with a lifting capacity of 100 tons, Demag mobile cranes, fixed base cranes, 6 RTG cranes for container yard operations, 2 STS container cranes, 4, reach stackers and other equipment.

QUAYS

Czeskie:  410 meter long with 9.15 meters draught. Storage: warehouses of 8,000 m2 and open storage yards of 20,000 m2. Two 16 ton cranes and two 6 ton cranes, one 50 ton self-propelled crane, 2 self-propelled cranes Gottwald with a lifting capacity up to 100 t; 2 RTG cranes, ro-ro ramp.

Słowackie: 565 meter long with 9 meters draught. Storage: warehouses of 16,000 m2 and open storage yards of 80,000 m2. Six 16 ton cranes, including two gantry cranes, and four 6 ton cranes.

Fińskie (New Container Terminal):  300 meter long with 9.15 meters draught. Open storage yards of 35,000 m2. 2 STS container cranes up to 45 tons, 4 RTG cranes up to 40 t, ro - ro ramp.

Polskie: 260 meter long with 8.75 meters draught. 6-25 ton cranes.

Węgierskie: 611 meter long with 8.7 meters draught. 3-6 ton cranes; storage: warehouses of 14,500 m2, open storage yards of 13 500 m2.

Rumuńskie: 600 meter long with 6.7 meters draught. 6 ton cranes; storage: warehouses of 5 800 m2 and open storage yards of 12,000 m2.

Albanian: 89 meter long with 5.8 meters draught. Warehouse for hazardous materials

Russian: 322 meter long with 8.2 meters draught. 3 ton cranes; storage: warehouses of 40,881 m² and open storage yards of 23,000 m², phytosanitary checks are carried out in Warehouse No 7.
