The Polish Chamber of Maritime Commerce is an autonomous organization of sea economy, representing the economic interests of subjects incorporated within the range of their production, commercial or service activities, particularly of organs of public administration and autonomous territories.

KIGM brings together over 130 firms working in such areas as: shipbuilding, shipyards and cooperators, port sales, ports and enterprises working on their grounds, shipping and transport, fisheries including processing and sale, international commerce, sea economy services (e.g. supervisory firms, insurers, banks).
