Deepwater Container Terminal - opening of offers
On the first of June 2022, at the headquarters of the Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority, a public opening of offers was held in the procedure aimed at negotiating and awarding a preliminary agreement that obliges the parties to execute a final agreement on the use of real estate located within the borders of the seaport in Świnoujście, designated for the operating a container terminal according to a concept proposed and implemented by the user.
According to the information of the Committee conducting the procedure, until the deadline for the submission of offers specified in the procedure the following offers were submitted:
1. Offer submitted by BALTIC GATEWAY Ltd., with its registered office in Horncastle, United Kingdom;
2. Offer submitted by a consortium consisting of:
DEME CONCESSIONS N.V., with its registered office in Zwijndrecht, Belgium and QTERMINALS W.L.L., with its registered office in Doha, State of Qatar.
The Committee also found that both offers met all the formal conditions stipulated in the procedure.
