Meeting of the Program Council of the International Maritime Congress 2025
The International Maritime Congress is back - the 11th edition will be held in May 2025 in Szczecin, and the Program Council of this event has already started work on its form and agenda. - We have the first of a series of meetings on the form of next year's Congress ahead of us, which - as we can already announce - will take place in Szczecin on May 15 and 16 next year - said the president of the Seaports and Seaports Authority, Jarosław Siergiej, while welcoming the guests.
The inaugural meeting of the Council was an opportunity to outline the basic aspirations and goals that are set for next year's edition of the Congress. - We have a huge challenge ahead of us to return to the Congress after the break in a form that is attractive to participants, but also valuable for the entire maritime economy - declared Stanisław Iwan. The Dean of the Faculty of Transport Engineering and Economics of the Maritime University of Technology in Szczecin was appointed to the position of chairman of the Program Council of the event.
The Congress will return to Szczecin after a one-year break, and its substantive form is already being prepared. During the event, we will discuss the most current and important topics for the future of the maritime economy. New technologies, green energy, sustainable development, safety - these and many other issues will be the subject of panel discussions, plenary debates, and side conversations.
The organizer of the international meeting is the Maritime Congress Foundation, which is formed by representatives of the Northern Chamber of Commerce, the Polish Steamship Company and the Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority.
