The accreditation of the laboratory is generally accepted in the European Union a method of assurance and confirmation of the quality of research. The reliability of research and technical competence of the Work Environment Research Laboratory was verified by the Polish Accreditation Centre which on 21 September 2001 granted Certificate of Accreditation No. Ab 362.
The "Certificate of Accreditation" verifies that the laboratory meets the requirements of PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 international standard "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories".
Technical competence and ability to perform individual research is verified regularly by the auditors of the Polish Accreditation Centre. Based on laboratory findings and opinions of auditors', the Polish Accreditation Centre prepares a scope of accreditation containing a list of laboratory research methods for which a confirmation of competence has been obtained.
In order to improve research methods and the quality of services, the laboratory is constantly expanding the scope of accreditation by new methods.
Currently, the Work Environment Research Laboratory has a Certificate of Accreditation in the Scope of Accreditation No. AB 362 for: sampling, working environment, acoustics, research on vibrations, chemistry.
